I'm now surprise to know that a ex-close working colleague of quite a few years ago will come back again to join the same dept, working on exactly the exact same thing like what she did before the quit. Talking about dedication!!!!
Me and 2 other colleagues were talking about how karang guni men nowadays are choosy on what items that they are willing to take away from us. Stuffs like old tvs especially, they only take it away from you if ur old tvs are a Sony or Toshiba, if you're trying to sell to them Thomson, Sharp, Samsung, Mitsubishi etc, they may not be interested. They explained that the inside components of these brands of tvs, don't get demands from repair or spare parts shops. So these karang guni syndicates, who act as the repair shops supplier will definitely go for demand and not accepting any other tv brands.
Today is wednesday and tomorrow is thurs and my last working day of the week!! Oh Happiness!! I must remember to bring along my toiletries bag and 2 changes of lingerie and a change of tee. Need to go to a nursery along thomson road to purchase the roses and the orchids for the hantaran and sirih dara. Must remember to bring along a shawl too, cause we have to wade our way thru the buckets of flowers in the nursery's cold storage. I love going to the nursery, I love looking at flowers and plants, its just very therapeautic and calm and serene for my quite messy mind. I could momentarily forget the outside world and just study the the flowers and conjuring up how this flower will go nicely with this one on this kind of vase or basket or something and it will look good as a centrepiece or a corner piece or you could place it against the wall on this kind of table etc......banyak berangan kalau dah kat nursery tu.......
On the same day too, mak, Hsy, Susi and Kak Y will do the ingredients marketing for the families yg datang on the nikah day (Sat). Hopefully its enough hands to carry all the stuffs. Kak Y don't have the initiatives to buy the ingredients bit by bit along this week, at least it lessen the burden and stress to buy every single thing on the menu list in one day. She and husband doesn't have the brains to do things way before hand, its always at the 11th hour for them, which to me is quite amateurish and a very complacent attitude. They are not sensitive and unaware of the stress that they put on us, whose trying to put up a decent wedding for their one and only child. And to think that we have about 9mths of preparations, but we have achieve almost nothing so far.
Well, I told mak and Chim that we're trying our best to accomodate what ever ideas or preparations that they throw at us if things don't turn out the way that they planned (or whatever it is that they thought they have planned), then its too bad. We did try to tell them to hasten but, they seems to slacken back, thus its their fault for helding a crappy wedding. Its their majlis not ours. Kalau nampak tak organise, then its their fault for taking things lightly.
