Free Lunch cum meeting (yawn!!!)

Thanks to my boss for the lunch treat for the department. She passed her exams with satisfactory grades and she just so glad she managed to pull thru it all, despite her work commitment and a death in her family.

We had briyanis and KFCs and bubur pulut hitam for dessert. I had fish briyani and its delicious!! Its my first time eating a fish briyani and its quite a nice change from the normal chix or mutton briyanis.

We continue the gathering with a meeting. Just heads up on our new business system. Getting us familiarize with some of the technical terms used to describe a certain work process and where as a whole the dept stands with this new system.

Its obvious that we will merge with adsales because of the way the system is created. Restructuring, one word that brings so much concern to many of us in the dept.

Through out the meeting, I noticed one thing, not once did my boss used/mentioned her most infamous words "MOVING FORWARD". She didn't utter the word at all!!! She must have noticed that those very words are just a tad bit passe amongst us.
